Direct-Trade

Sulawesi is synonymous with rich, bold, beautiful vanilla. We work directly with smallholder farmers on the island to source, blanch, cure, and import their vanilla beans.

We believe that Sulawesi vanilla is underrated, and we want to show the world how amazing the flavor profile of this origin is.

Due to our consolidated supply-chain, we're able to pay farmers at least 15% above market prices and offer our customers  a fair price as well.

400

There are over 400 individual flavor components in a single vanilla bean. The most important flavor component is called "vanillin"

13.5 oz

The U.S. FDA requires all vanilla extracts to be brewed with a minimum of 13.5 ounces of vanilla beans per gallon of liquid.

30%

Vanilla is, by far, America's most desired ice cream flavor. Over 30% of Americans claiming it's their favorite flavor, with chocolate right behind.

1519

Vanilla beans were originally only sought after for their aroma, until Cortes arrived in 1519 and introduced it as a flavor in the West.

The best and freshest beans ever

I purchased these beans last year at the Chocolate festival in Loveland. They are the best in ice cream and everything else. Since they are so fresh they have the best middle and I only have to use half of the bean in everything. I have also passed your vanilla info on to a few streams and people on Twitch in the US and Canada. Hope to see you soon at one of the markets.

Excellent source of oustanding vanilla!

As chocolate makers, we want only the finest ingredients we can find. Vanilla is critical. Their Sulawesi vanilla bean is the exceptional: fresh, moist, and plump! I find I am using half the vanilla beans that I typically use. I use Origin beans exclusively now since I have been totally spoiled by the quality of Origin's vanilla beans. Lately I have started using their vanilla extract in my caramels and the vanilla shines through!

We are also impressed by the lengths that the owners goes through to support the farmers and provide them an equitable price for their product. We feel so much better about the product knowing how lovingly it has been sourced.

Good vanilla. For grade B, you get more vanilla taste than the grade A. That's a secret I've learned over the years. Zach explained at the Loveland farmers market that moisture and vanilla flavor do not decrease at the same time. I'm already a huge fan of this company. You go guys.

We appreciate the kind words Sandra, thank you very much! See you again.

Smells SO Good, Better Than Madagascar

I have bought vanilla beans from the spice hunter for the last 10 years. My first time using vanilla beans from Origin Vanilla. I have to say, I am IMPRESSED!!! The taste reminds me of chocolate, and it's deep yet light. Hard to explain. Fantastic nonetheless!

So happy to hear it Faith! Thanks again!

Super Happy

Got these vanilla beans shipped to me for free after ordering a pack of 25. I thought they looked extra moist and large for being Grade B. I ordered Grade B a few years ago from Bean-nilla, but the quality was bad and I haven't ordered again. I'm incredibly happy with my Grade B beans from Origin Vanilla! I will be brewing mine in vodka. I will post a photo on Facebook when it's finished.

Please post a photo when it's finished, we'd love to see! We're happy you're enjoying your vanilla.
